SUMMARY:NHIT Community Health Innovation Summit: Central Florida 2026
DESCRIPTION:Advancing Community Health. Expanding Access. Building Trust.Central Florida is one of the nation's fastest-growing and most diverse regions. Osceola County is 58.2% Hispanic or Latino\, and more than half of residents speak a language other than English at home. Its strong Puerto Rican presence makes the region a natural bridge to the work launched at the NHIT Community Health Innovation Summit: Puerto Rico 2026.The opportunity is not simply to expand services\, but to close the distance between diagnosis and sustained treatment. Women navigating breast cancer\, lupus\, multiple sclerosis\, and diabetic eye disease may also face language\, coverage\, transportation\, childcare\, cost\, and trust barriers. Resources exist\, but they are often fragmented or difficult to use.The Summit brings patients\, community leaders\, clinicians\, health systems\, payers\, life sciences and technology partners\, and policymakers together to identify where the patient journey breaks\, align existing resources\, and commit to measurable action. The work will produce a Central Florida blueprint\, a patient-navigation pilot concept\, a scorecard\, and recommendations for the November 18 NHIT Congressional Briefing.Register Here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nhit-community-health-innovation-summit-central-florida-2026-tickets-2002897640760?aff=erelpanelorg
