Robert F. Stuart, Jr. is a senior government affairs advisor with more than 19 years at GrayRobinson and prior experience as a legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives, giving him firsthand insight into the legislative process and strategy in Tallahassee. He leads complex advocacy efforts before the Florida Legislature, Governor’s Office, Cabinet, and state agencies, while also working with clients on local procurement and policy matters across the state. Robert’s practice spans economic development, education, tax and finance, transportation, insurance, alcohol regulation, and local government issues. Leveraging deep relationships with elected officials statewide, and a personal background rooted in public service, he represents a diverse range of clients, from local governments and influential nonprofits to major corporations, with a reputation for effective, bipartisan engagement.
